Winter Meeting Crime Scene


Ian, Sal & Seung,
Don did file a report of the theft of a gold glove to the NYPD. The cops said it was unlikely he would ever see it again.

P.S. A search of the home of Havelock Hewes only turned up a badly mangled "half" gold glove that could not be identified. The only markings were:

For Gold Gloves the Outfield should be separated into 4 positions although someone can appear in more than one slot but should not be allowed to win more than one slot. Therefore if Alex wins for Center Field, he can't win for Left Field.

Now if a player rarely plays one of the outfield positions, he shouldn't be listed in it. Therefore Paul Geoghan wouldn't be considered for Center Field since he rarely plays there.

If you had to play the Broad Street Bullies for your lunch money I think you'd want to put your four finest fielders out there, regardless of where they played in the "regular" season. That's a gold glove.
