No Softball Unless Announced by Havelock Hewes

Softball For The Love Of It's winter schedule has no games on it. Should we have a fair weather day and a playable field we may decide to play and put out an announcement of a game.

Gents,
If the weather is better, Let's try to play next weekend.
With or without havelock, we can play softball at ps 141 anytime we feel like.
I have access to this field, and I can supply the balls and bases
We can play for fun and practice, so offiicial stats will not count,
this will make Havelock happy.
All we need is players
We just need a head count
And if we have enough guys
GAME ON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

havelock's post isn't actually anything different from league policy over the last several years. when we have a permit (heckscher, fdr drive), the default setting is GAME ON, and an email will be sent if the game is not on. when we don't have a permit, the default setting is GAME OFF, and an email will be sent if the game is ON.

how is it that one person can decide for 20+ other guys if there is a game or not?
it's decided by weather...not by an announcement by HH
