2023 Lifetime Update

Well, better late than never, they say. Now we can marvel at Havelock's accumulation of counting stats... nearly 3000 more plate appearances, 400 walks, 300 runs scored, and 300 player wins more than anyone else... We can wonder how long before Cid leads the league in every lifetime hitting category... just 27 homers behind Phil Kotik... or check out Phil Ciccone's probably unbeatable .577 average and 1.447 OPS.

The lifetime stats, linked on the right of the page, are current for everyone with 100 plate appearances or more, and the leaderboard is current to the end of last season. There is one milestone alert... it is likely that Sam Melendez will score his 1000th run sometime this season, becoming only the 4th player to do so. Havelock, Gil, and Cid are the other three.

Unfortunately accurate pitching stats for 2022 were not kept, and I have temporarily retired the pitching leaderboard. Hav has a lot of wins and a lot of losses. Everyone else is significantly behind in both. I do not yet have league leaders for 2022 and 2023, but those will happen in a later update. Thanks for your patience and see you at the field-- Ian

2020 Final Stats

The 2020 stats are in the books! Impressively, SFL managed to play something close to a full season. One of the unsung MVPs of the stat compiling process was the scanner in Gil's office. Without it, we have more minor inaccuracies than usual, but the numbers are as good as I could make them, and corrections are completely impossible. Congratulations to Glen Lawrence and Tim DeSieno on splitting the pennant at plus 7, to Mark Rodriguez on his first batting title, to Sam Magnus for finishing second in basically every offensive category. Thanks to Cid Rivera for his work in co-ordinating fall season games. Cid also led the league in both runs scored and batted in. There will be a lifetime stats update to follow in the next few weeks, and we've already begun the 2021 season up at Dyckman Street. I won a nail biter over Havelock, 10-9, in the opener, and Frankie Almanzar earned his team a split with a 15-9 win over Nate Sillman that featured Freddie Melendez and Pat Bavasi hitting back to back homers for the winners, and Jacob Almanzar cranking a 3-run bomb off of his dad for the losing team.

Partial 2020 Update

2020 stats contain all pre-covid games plus recent games that were in Havelock's possession as of last week. So don't call me if your home run is missing! Haha!

2019 Final Stats

I have the season stats finished and the leaderboard is up... not bad for someone who gets two months at a time of scorebooks scanned and emailed by Gil, our most valuable treasurer. Having to read Havelock's handwriting is driving me to drink. But it's done. The lifetime stats will be updated soon enough as well. Congratulations to Glen Lawrence on the pennant and Sam Melendez on the batting title.
